The Sealy Suite brings everything together in one place for your special day, with a beautiful walled garden, private bar and on-site hotel accommodation. The Georgian coaching inn is an ideal setting to celebrate your special day.
Fully licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, you can host your ceremony and reception seamlessly in one location. Set in the charming Georgian town of Blandford Forum, The Crown Hotel enjoys views across the River Stour and surrounding water meadows, offering a picturesque countryside backdrop for your day.
The newly refurbished Sealy Suite is a versatile space that can be styled to suit your vision, whether you’re planning an intimate celebration or something larger. It’s perfectly suited to both sit down dining and buffet style receptions, with a dancefloor and plenty of space for live bands or a DJ.
With 27 en-suite bedrooms for your guests and a dedicated Wedding Coordinator to guide you every step of the way, The Crown Hotel offers an award-winning setting where your day comes together beautifully.

The Sealy Suite Full Venue Hire
The Sealy Suite offers a truly private and versatile setting, making exclusive hire our most popular option. The newly refurbished event space is set slightly apart from the main hotel. It features a dedicated bar, beautiful walled garden, and catering and parking on site, giving your event its own separate convenient space.
Ideal for weddings, private celebrations, conferences and meetings, the suite provides flexible layouts.
Full venue hire includes the two adjoining spaces: The Badger Sett, our larger function room accommodating up to 180 seated guests, and The Fox Den, a more intimate space for up to 22 seated or around 30 standing, perfect for smaller gatherings, breakout areas or private dining.

The Badger Sett
With its own private entrance, the function space offers a bright and versatile setting for a wide range of events. Featuring a spacious dancefloor and flexible layout, it can be styled to suit everything from lively celebrations to formal occasions.
Facilities include a projector screen and PA system, Flip Charts and ample space for a stage, making it equally well-suited to both business and social events.
Perfect for: Conferences, meetings, weddings and parties
Capacity: 30–180 guests (seated)
Hire: £500 full day hire (private bar hire not included, minimum bar spend applies)

The Fox Den
This intimate space is ideal for smaller gatherings and great conversations, offering a bright setting with plenty of natural daylight. With its own private entrance and a calm, focused atmosphere, it’s well suited to both business meetings and more personal events. Facilities include a screen and flipchart, making it perfect for presentations and workshops.
Perfect for: Gatherings, meetings and intimate drinks receptions.
Capacity: Up to 22 guests (seated)
Hire: £150 full day hire (private bar hire not included, minimum bar spend applies)
