The Crown Hotel is a well-established conference, functions and events venue and has hosted many companies in the South of England, together with individual events. Located in the beautiful town of Blandford Forum, which nestles in the famous Blackmore Vale of Dorset, our stunning Georgian Inn and separate Sealy function suite are easily accessible for those travelling south from the M27, east from Bridport and Dorchester and west from the A303/Salisbury area.

The Crown offers a range of conference and events packages for corporate clients and individual guests alike, ranging from £27 to £130 (including an overnight stay) per delegate/guest.

Daytime Room Hire

As an alternative to the delegate rates mentioned above, we offer room hire for all or part of our Sealy Suite at the rates detailed below

The Badger’s Sett

With its own private entrance, The Badger’s Sett is an impressive air conditioned conference & events space for up to 180 delegates/guests (depending on layout), located within the Sealy Suite. We have a non- permanent stage, projector and screen system with sound and a PA system all available as required to suit your requirements.

Up to 8 hours – £300

The Fox’s Den

A small syndicate room at the front of the Sealy Suite and ideal for Team meetings and smaller events for up to 20 delegates/guests, The Fox’s Den has its own entrance, plenty of natural daylight and a TV screen for presentations.

The Sealy Suite

For your largest conferences and events, there is also the option to combine the Badger’s Sett and Fox’s Den to create an even larger space. This allows you privacy and exclusive use of the facilities within the Sealy Suite. Use the Badger’s Sett for your conference or event and the Fox’s Den as a convenient break out space. In addition, when your event is over, use our private walled garden for a spot of entertaining or further company or individual team building.

Evening Room Hire Charges

Our Sealy Suite can be hired from 7pm until midnight at a charge of £500, reducing to £300 if you add on one of our special buffet packages.

Alternatively our sit down party menus are available from £22 per person and for groups of 80 or more guests we are happy to waive the room hire charge.
